Event statuses are useful for tracking the status of an event as it progresses through your standard workflow.  Color coding reinforces the status of each event.

There are 5 different event status types.  Each can used more than one time depending on your workflow.

Statuses 

  • None.  The status of none can be used to create a placeholder for an event, which in the early stages of the sales cycle.  An event with a status of none, will appear on the Event Calendar.
  • Temporary Hold.  The status of Temporary Hold, is ideal for an event under active negotiation but not yet under contract.
  • Commit Scheduled Times.  This status will typically assigned to an event when the contract has been signed and the deposit has been received.
  • Event Complete.  This status will typically be assigned when the event is complete and fully paid for.
  • Event Canceled.  This status will be used when an event has been canceled.

Add/Edit an Event Status

To add an event status, click on the Add button on the toolbar.  Complete the form:

  • Event Status is the name assigned to the status
  • Status Code is a short code for the status
  • Fore Color and Back Color should be set
  • Select the radio button applicable for the status as described above.

Once the form is complete, click on the Save icon on the toolbar.

To edit an event status, click on the status in the list, then click on the edit button on the toolbar.  Make the desired changes, then click Save on the toolbar.
