South Hills is very much a family-centered club. The social calendar includes activities like the Easter Egg Hunt, summer pool-side movies, Halloween and Christmas parties. The annual Fourth of July celebration is a day-long event. There are junior golf and swimming programs for youths from 6 to 17. Generations of children have dutifully cleaned their dinner plates in anticipation on the legendary South Hills "Clown Cone" dessert.
As with most private, not-for-profit social clubs, new members need to be sponsored by existing members, and applications are approved by the Board of Governors. However, to streamline the process, South Hills has established a Fast Track Application, and an Ambassador's Committee to introduce new applicants to prospective sponsors.
For more than three-quarters of a century, families from all over Pittsburgh have grown up at South Hills Country Club. We invite you to inquire about membership at the
" #1 People Club" today. For information, please contact Debbie Kerilla at firstname.lastname@example.org or 412-668-3532.
