To send or schedule the sending of an email, hold your mouse over the the Action button beside the email you wish to send in the email list and select Send/Schedule.
Recipient List Types
There are four types of recipient list available: Built-in Recipient List, Custom Recipient List, Uploaded Recipient List, and Back Office Query. The default is Built-In Recipient List. To select Custom Recipient List, Uploaded Recipient List or Back Office Query, select the radio button beside it. For further information on the other options, please see the tree-map to the left or click on each of their names to follow the included link.
Note: To schedule the sending of an email, you must use a Custom Recipient List.
All People with a valid email address?
To send an email to all people with a valid email address select this option, then click Generate Email List at the bottom of the form. The following summary will appear:
Next click Confirm Recipient List and Verify Email to go to the last step.
Specific Groups and/or Committees
To send an email to specific groups and/or committees, select this option. You will be presented with a list of all groups and committees.
Step 1: Select the group(s) to which you wish to send the email, then select Generate Email List.
Step 2: This list displays all recipients, you can modify the list by un-checking recipients. Once the list has been refined, click Refine List at the bottom of the list.
You also have the option to refine, or add to this this list by searching for specific people, or people who meet certain criteria. This menu will appear directly below the "Review your recipient list" menu:
Step 3: Once you have a final list, click Review Recipient List and Verify Email to go to the last step.
Use this choice to create an ad hoc list of specific people. The menu used is identical to the one used above.
Complete your search criteria and click Generate Email List. The top of the page will display your search results.
Click "Add to Email List", if you wish this person to be added, and you will be returned to the menu screen with a list displaying the accepted recipients.
If you do not wish to add this person, uncheck their name and click "Add to Email List". This will return you to the menu list with all valid email addresses in your database checked in your recipients list, allowing you to refine your list from the available possibilities. You have the option to uncheck all emails and try again using "uncheck all", if necessary.
You can search again to add or refine to your list.
Once you have completed your search, click Confirm Recipient List and Verify Email to go to the last step.
Select this option to send an email to people who will be attending, or have attended, a specific event.
Note: Event attendees must have registered using the Buz Event Registration System
Select the event(s) from the check list, then select Generate Email List. Next, refine the list as desired. Once you have a final list, click Confirm Recipients and Verify Email to go to the last step.
This option allows you to generate an email to leads within you CRM with a specific shared attribute and/or a shared associated Rep.
This option allows you to generate an email to Customers within your CRM who share a specific attribute.
